" Intelligent Energy "

We have been accepted as an registered competitor in the X-Prize competition.

We are entering the race with a conversion of a Volkswagen EOS. We are replacing the power source, power storage, drive train with our own development.

All safety feautures from the original vehicle are kept including the brakes. It could be classified as a full series hybrid as the primary energy source is normal fuel (diesel / gasoline).

The focus is on intelligent energy management in all forms and the reduction of energy wastage. This vehicle will show that it is possible to modify a current mainstream vehicles to become substantially more energy efficient without losing any of their appeal and benefits that drivers have become accustomed to.

Features such as start-stop, regenerative braking, thermal optimisation, aerodynamic optimisation are part of the package. Our constant rpm / dynamic-stroke motor which has been optimised for thermal efficiency will be the energy source.

The EOS shares the same plattfrom with the Tiguan, Touran, Caddy, Golf and Golf+. This is one of the most popular plattforms in the world. And the Eos shows that a "green" vehicle can also be desirable, not just functional.

We are aiming to offer a conversion of existing vehicles by the the end of the year. The conversion (or hybridisation) will be offered in two steps. The first step will double the power whilst at the same time reducing the consumption by 30-40%. The second step will reduce the consumption by another 25%. This will carry the name "EcoMod"
